I have looked at both of the uploads of this serial, and this one at least has the sound in synch. I make it a point to watch all serials starting with number 2. I don't know why, but the synch seems to go out starting with episode 2.

Hey Space Fan Thanks for uploading these and ignore the idiots. Why archive.org allows idiot posts like that is beyond me.
Anyhow, this is a fun serial and thanks for making them available. What's especially ironic is Kato invents the car, invents the gadgets, creates the costumes, does the driving and fighting, and Green Hornet gets top billing. :)
But the unfairness to Kato aside :), a great serial. Please post more.
p.s. To the complainers if you don't like something that is here no one is forcing you to download it. Ignore it or upload something better, but don't be an ahole and disparage someone who took the time to post.
Yeah the video, or audio may have problems, or stuff may be missing whatever, but sometimes that's what available,or that's the best people can upload it, and you know what... considering no one is paying them, that's fing fine.
I'm just happy to be able to sample these classic items. If you're such a perfectionist find the original elements, remaster them, and upload them yourself otherwise shut the heck up.
That gripe done, thanks again for posting and please keep them coming.
And Archive.org do a better job supporting your uploaders and policing your site. because if your uploaders get fed up you won't have much of a site. Already I've noticed a drastic reduction in the number of uploads, thanks primarily to the abusive environment Archive is allowing. This isn't Youtube guys, let's leave the moronic comments over there.

Subject: Kato a Korean?
You obviously didn't do your homework in researching the Green Hornet origins. Kato was rumored to be Japanese until after Dec. 7, 1941, when suddenly he became a Filipino. This urban legend told even by people who worked on the program was not true. He was described as a Filipino of Japanese ancestry as early as 1940. Keye Luke was already known as Charlie Chan's No. 1 Son. Gordon Jones, who played the title role, later became known for his jovial comedy roles on television and as Roy Rogers' movie sidekick.

For a better copy, one needs to find a VHS master, or film 35mm or 16mm. Other than that VCI has produce a copy from the negatives. I am not promoting VCI, but if you want a better copy start looking elsewhere.

Subject: Bad quality VHS rips
Subject: Bad quality VHS rips
Evidently you don't know anything about capturing VHS tapes and if these are yours then that is obvious.
These are not bad quality because the "source" material was bad. These are bad because the person doing the capturing was either 1. Incompetent and shouldn't be capturing videos at all or 2. In a hurry and just wanted to be the "first" to get them up. Plain and simple.
And just where might that "elsewhere" be that I should look? That's entirely my point. Once these are on the internet every place you look will be the same bad quality videos.
Thanks for the advice about looking elsewhere though. Good advice, although that kind of advice doesn't bode well for the future of this website.
